Food Foundry @ Section 17

Met up with Pam, Charlene and Charmaine for dinner at Food Foundry. It's actually located at the Section 17 Happy Mansion flats, the block behind the famous 6 to 10 Grills. Been doing a lot of research on this place (surfing their website and reading other blogs review), I am very curious how their well-known Mille Crepe tastes like.

Photos stolen from Pam (Thanks Pam)

When I arrived, the 3 hungry girls already ordered the food...and I have complete trust on their taste. The serving time was real fast...within minutes, our small table was full of dishes!! First came the Caesar salad...loves it! Really fresh and lots of
bacon. Yummmmz. Then came the half-cooked Grilled Prawns Tapas (RM6.90) which we sent back to the kitchen to recook!

For main dishes, we ordered Spaghetti Marinara (RM13.90) which i find no big deal, Singapore Fried Meehoon (RM6.90) and Chicken Cordon Bleu (RM12.90). The Chicken was nice...very cheezy but luckily we shared all the dishes cos no way i can finish the chicken alone!!

Finally....DESSERT TIME!!!!!! The Mille Crepe comes in 4 flavours, Vanilla (original), Chocolate, Strawberry and Green Tea. We tried not to be too greedy so we only ordered 2 pieces to share. The Vanilla was very milky and creamy. I find it a bit too sweet! Probably it will goes well with a cup of black coffee. I prefer the Chocolate flavour though. Next time must try strawberry and green tea just to satisfy my curiosity.

Hi~! Saw ur entry on this restaurant which I'd visited few weeks back. Was really nice. Had lunch and dinner there. Lunch hour was quite pack around 1pm. The cabonara is my all time fav. with their fettucine pasta. But dun go too early as they need time to prepare the cabonara sauce. the portion was quite large during dinner time. the spicy oglio oleo was nice too. can try it out if u like olive oil. :)
