Super duper hot today! Crazy! Dunno why whenever each time we go see the progress of our new house, Mr Sunshine shines like as if no tomorrow! Phew! Anyway, today we made a trip down to see our house since the last time we went, the gate was locked. Was told that we can't go into the house yet but the guy who took us to the site somehow managed to get one of the workers to open it for us.
This is my house!
Although I told myself many times that what I see at the showhouse will be totally different from the actual house we get, but I still couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed at our house. The colour scheme....urghhh...so ugly! Da whole house so yellowish and orangey, which you can see from all the photos I took! But Hubby assured me that the house will look totally different after some ID and renovation being done. Yah yah...must repaint, change the doors, railings, windows..etc etc etc.
The railings got to be changed!!!!! The house so 'yellow' isn't it?
Hubby going to convert this corner for Pea and another new 'pup'.
The photo below was taken at Chatuchak Market, which I think perfect for my courtyard.
The courtyard, this is where the bamboo garden, koi pond and a cage of bird will be placed. With me playing guzheng here.....so got feel leh!!!
That's all the pictures I took, will take more during my next visit!

Looks like you'll be having a lot of fun beautifying your new place. :-)
Looks great! Yeah, have fun decorating yr new place. Can slowly start already buying items.
lyrical and boo, so many ideas floating my head now, very indecisive of what I want yet. Hubby said that will make a trip down to Bangkok again to get house deco after we decide on the theme for our new home. Very excited :)
Hey preciouspea, Congrats on the new place. Looks mighty fine. Looking forward to seeing the completed kitchen. ;-) Been meaning to put you on my blogroll. Hope you don't mind. Nice to meet someone so passionate about his food. These last few weeks have been a revelation.
Nigel
Hi Nigel, thanks for visiting! Oh yes, since the kitchen will be my territory, will definately make it as nice as possible. Can't wait to have a proper oven so that i can bake and roast. Best thing is, the kitchen overlook the courtyard.
Hi Preciouspea,
Where is the location of this new house?? It is very spcious althought the outfit may not up to your requirement but most important the space is easy for modification....can't wait what is the end product.
Hi coketai, thanks for dropping by. My new house is in Setia Alam. Yah, i think after i repaint the house, things will be different. Will definately post the progress of the beautifying process.
Ok despite the colour scheme that you dislike, the house looks absolutely wonderful! *envy envy envy* :-P
Wahlau-eh. Just din't drop by for a weekend & already a few posts to keep my Monday morn occupied. After salivate on food, salivate on house pulak. This blog is most 'dehydrating'. Setia Alam? Spacious peaceful neighbourhood.
tankiasu: Thanks! The colour scheme does make a big difference. Am figuring which colour theme to use, pastel lilac with cream or light olive with cream(like my blog).
tummythoz: Hahaha...so did I cure your Monday blues? Or are you dehydrated oledi?
WOW!! Semi-D house.....look very spacious and nice leh..hehe
wonder how much a unit for sale?:)
Nice spacious new home! I agree to change the stair railings. Maybe we can have a potluck party for housewarming when it's ready! :P
anonymous: It depends on the unit size and the design, ranging from 600k+ to 900k+ for corner units.
Jason: No need potluck la...all can come with empty stomach.
Which one is my room? I'll come and stay once in a while la .. err besides Pea also no problem.
Nice house...but you'll be moving further away from me :o(

live2talk: Err...pea's corner?
wmw: Never mind la...I will still be working in Mont Kiara.
