We made a very hasty purchase today. Considered a major purchase since we will be committed to it for the next decade or so. Nope..it's not a property, it's not a car, it's PUMPKIN!!!
Introducing my new family member, Pumpkin the Pekingese. It was a love at first sight for us, uhm, i mean for me. Anybody want to know how I ended up with Pumpkin? Actually I brought Pea to this pet shop in SS2 for boarding as we were away to Genting for a concert. I already spotted this fella on Friday night and saw him again when I checked in Pea on Saturday. Kept on thinking of him the whole time, so much so, I even given him a name. So when i picked up Pea today, the lady boss let me cuddled him...i think it's her sales tactic. And so we ended up checking in 1 dog, checking out 2 dogs! He is still at the petshop now as we are planning to bring him back tomorrow, when we get Pea's old cage clean and ready for Pumpkin.

Oh my goodness~! He looked soooo adorable~~~ You're so lucky to be able to own not 1, but 2 cute little doggies~ I'm so jealous eh, I can't own any pets that have fur cause my parents don't allow me to. (Actually is because I got asthma, but that's long time ago!)
How I wish that I know you so that I could go your house everyday to play with this cute little pumpkin. :P

Aiyoyoo....so cute! I've seldom seen a Pekingese pup! Looks like a baby Golden Retriever puffed up on fur. So cute!

Ok I'm goin to drop by ur house tonight and pay my visit ;D Err if u go travel and boarding is expensive then I can volunteer to take care of both Pea & Pumpkin. I guarantee my mom sure ok wan as long as it's not for permanent!

Congratulation for having a new member in your house but bear in mind that you must learn to resist any more doggie temptation otherwise I will advise you to open a pet shop! Ha! Ha!

tigerfish: Shih Tzu, Pekingnese, Lhasa Apso and Pug actually from same origin, that is why you see their face flat. Pea is really gentle so i guess shouldn't be a problem getting along with pumpkin.

coketai: Although I won't mind having more doggies, Hubby insist only 2 doggies at any one time. But not complaining, due to my heavy travelling, boarding costs a BOMB! Haha! As for being a petshop owner, i don't think i can handle the emotion each time i sell a dog.

i used to have 2 beautiful pure breed dogs...later after the arrival of our beautiful daughter after 5 yrs of marriage...we have less time spending with the dogs :(
the next thing we know it we can't cope anymore with a koi pond, household chores, 1 baby and 2 dogs...we GAVE UP 1 dogs for adoption*the new owner is a crazy dog lover..hehe..lucky for us and the dog*
so what i'm saying here is don be like us if u r planning for a baby...eventually u will have no time and that pantang abt dog fur getting the baby:(

I know my wife has been dreaming abt this puppy for a few days oledi. How I know this? Well, she kept saying how cute this doggy was and kept asking "if" we get this puppy, shall we named it "pumpkin"... After awhile, its kinda obvious how much she yearned for this doggy...
Well, I guess its a small price to pay la (gulp) as long as I can keep my wife happy and of course, she keeps cooking nice food to feed me.. its worth every sen!!

KampungboyCitygal: I cannot live without a pet. I used to have fishes,birds,guinea pigs,chicks,hermit crabs and doggies. Wait till i move new house and i will convince hubby to allow me to keep hedgehog.

Hubby,hehehe...yah...dunno why Pumpkin was in my mind all the time ever since i saw him...probably we are destined to be together? I do think all got connection, if not becos Furry Frens closed down, we would not send Pea there.If we don't send Pea there, i would not have met Pumpkin. See??

I used to have a silky terrier. I don't think it can get along with any dogs :)

sooyin: Hello there, thanks for dropping by. Initially wanted his name to start with S since Pea is actually SnowPea..but since he is slightly golden brown and round, hence Pumpkin a perfect name for him.
