Getting back to the reality world from a magical night in Disneyland was so torturous. But no choice, like it or not, still got to head home as I got 2 angry dogs waiting for me to pick them up from their boarding place. Being promised by Hubby to bring me and my nephew to Disneyland again early next year did cheer me up until now. My Hubby never give me empty promises before. *GRIN*
Ok..no more Mickey, no more Minnie, no more Chip & Dale. Guess it's time to sum up my Hong Kong trip with a farewell lunch at our all-time favourite place. We discovered this place during our 2nd trip and since then, it has become our must-eat-before-going-home eatery. So much so, before we even depart to Hong Kong, we already looking forward to having lunch here before catching flight home. What is this place called? Cafe de Coral (click here for drooling session), the place I featured in my previous post about the yummylicious Loh Mai Kai. For lunch, they offer baked rice, soupy rice, noodle and rice with varieties of roasted meat. My choice has always been the same, Suckling Pig with BBQ Pork Rice, huge and generous serving of meat for only about HKD25 per serving. Sadly was told that Suckling Pig not available that day. Sniff sniff sniff!!!
The BBQ pork as expected was DELICIOUS! Juicy and succulent!! 2 thumbs up. My roasted goose tasted good too; skin was crispy with the right amount of fats hidden beneath it while the meat was meaty and juicy. Tastewise, I got to admit that the roasted goose I had at Maxim, Disneyland tasted much better, hence justified the high price paid. Hubby's Lung Kong chicken surprising tasted good but I only managed to sample ONE piece. Well, it was a barter system, I traded one piece of my goose so I get only ONE piece of chicken in return. A very satisfying lunch indeed eventhough I was looking forward to Suckling Pig which is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD! Maybe next year eh?
