If I ever own another dog, I will call him or her Peppermint. Yes, am obsessed with the letter ‘P’! After a long day out yesterday, we reached home and found a cute little doggie wandering in front of my neighbour’s gate. When she saw me, she immediately came over to me with a waggling tail. Automatically she walked into my house compound like as if it’s her home. She even tried to sneak into the house!!
She was clean with very white fur so I knew it belongs to someone. So we decided to temporarily keep her in the cage so that she won’t be run by a car while loitering around. But just before Hubby managed to set up the cage, an Indonesian maid came to look for her. Gosh! How irresponsible of her and I wonder what would happen to the maid if she lost the dog? If I ever have a maid, I guess I have to make sure that she mustn’t touch my two precious. I think I would be chasing her around with a chopping knife if she ever lost my two precious pea and pumpkin *touch wood*

I have a customer last time, she call her dog Potato. So cute.
"Peppermint" ..."...immediately came over to me with a waggling tail...". She must have detected a "doggie" smell from you...ha! BTW, I heard when a doggie comes happily to you, it means that is FATE!

we had a western oz terrier who ran away a couple of times during CNY bc she was terrified of firecrackers (cos daughter said it's cruel to cage her, so she leashed her but she couldn't bear to tighten her leash so she got free each time). we advertised, got her back, then the last time never found her again. we still miss her n sometimes i c a dog like her n i'd roll down the window n call "Kimber!!" but sadly none were her...also, we get really sick ppl here when we put ad in the paper. u think ppl r sick over little children only? u shd hear what some of them said when they call about lost dogs! so do keep ur peas safe.:)

terri: My spitz also very scare of fireworks and he too sneaked out the house cos too terrified. We went round the neighbourhood and even to PAWS but couldn't find him. Now Pea and Pumpkin is always indoor so no chance for them leaving the house unless for car ride. I just cannot bear the thought of losing them.
mamabok: If I know earlier i would. I tot the owner will come find her, never expect the maid. The maid was busy chatting with other maids behind my house...that is how the dog ran away. She was lucky the dog is with me. What if the dog run over by a car?
