Amazingly, my two new babies, Mei Hak (BlackTail) and Mei Hung (RedTail) survived a week in my new pond. I thought they wouldn't last long since I have no idea the amount of Chlorine and sea salt to put in. Furthermore, the pond is quite polluted as we are still in search of a suitable filter system.
The are no longer camera-shy. In fact, when I put my finger in, both of them will come and nibble. Maybe I should get more and have personal fish spa at home. Haha! Since the pond is too big for only two tiny goldfishes, Hubby and I decided to add in more new fish.
We bought four more gold fishes; 2 lionheads called Tai Hung (BigRed) and Tai Kam (BigGold). I personally adores Tai Hung with such a grumpy look and a big head. 
Didn't manage to take a photo of the other two shy goldfishes which are from the Ranchu family. Both look similar in terms of size and colour; white body with red dot on the head. So I guess once I can differentiate them, only then I will give them each a name.

Reminds me of my late goldfishes. I had the oranda (lionhead) goldfishes too. 9 of them. Killed them cos of overcrowding i think. I still go googoogaagaa over those in the fish shops. :-) Once they know u they'll beg for food everytime they see u. And they'll eat off ur fingers. Really adorable.
luscious sista: Nah, my boys especially Pea hates getting his paws wet. He avoids walking near to places that is wet.

fishes are like that.. mine used to be shy too..but now, they're as friendly as ever :) my bro even get to pet them on the surface! ;P

So cute! I used to love goldfishes but they really "poo poo" a lot, too much to clean =p
neko hime: WOW! That's a lot of guppies! You have it in an aquarium. I love guppies but i was told not to mix with goldfish as guppies attack them.

Will u kill the fishes if you put your feet in the pond? Pollution to the pond. Try wearing a sports shoes for 10 hours, then put your feet into the pond.

Goldfishes eat and poopoo a lot, so must get a good water filtration system. :)

Knowing if a Goldfish is a Boy or Girl
Sexing young goldfish is virtually impossible. You have to wait until the fish reach breeding age: about a year.
And even at that point experts aren't able to tell until they actually begin breeding.
Here is more advice and input:
The female has a larger butt.This is the best way to tell a female from a same sized male.
The female goldfish has a fanned fin and the male has a fin that sticks out.
Males always chase females around the aquarium most of the time. So the chaser is nearly always male, and the chasee is female.
When boy goldfish want to mate, they get white spots on their tail. If your goldfish has a spotty tail, it's definitely a male. If it doesn't, it's a girl or a boy who's just not ready yet. The male will develope white bumps on their gills and the females stomach area will enlarge as she fills with eggs. Also, the female will have a slightly larger and protruding vent (anal opening). And they will also look lopsided.

anyway, once i saw tiny translucent balls on the plastic container floorbed...i think its the eggs...but i wash it down the basin before i realised : P
