Yes.....a long long awaited holiday and my first holiday for the year too. Flying off to Hong Kong early tomorrow morning and should be reaching Hong Kong by lunch time. Armed with my food bible, I aim to cover at least half of the 50 must try snacks listed in the booklet. All the eateries are recommended by HK famous foodies. Am just so so so excited!
I already knew what to have for lunch! Oven-baked Claypot Minced Beef Rice with Raw Egg served at one famous restaurant in Sheung Wan. Such a killer picture, don't you agree?? Drroooll~~~

Wah, delicious photo! Have a safe trip!
u could never go wrong with the bible... lol! Plus the public transportation is just so good... one Octopus card and you are good to go...
if you read this... there's one Demon Chef in HK... controversial yet famous. Do check it out ok? the price will be on the high side though.
Have fun!!!
may you have an awesome trip! :D
My dear, u r killing me u know~~~~
have fun, eat till u drop!btw, if u r staying at ibis, get some thread noodles at the wet market nearby. the noodles are as fine as hair yet give a bite that our thread noodles don't. they also have very 'heong' red dates.this time of the year, you must eat hairy crabs!
Beware! This book is already outdated. Some shops already shifted to different location. Must try the Wing Hop Shing oven-baked claypot mince beef rice and the wood hust pudding (at Wan Chai) ! Forget about Chan Yee Chai bakery (moved to different location but still nearby). Waste your time and stomach space :( The Yee Shun milk company moved out too (to Mongkok if not mistaken). Must try the steamed milk egg pudding. Very smooth and milky. Forget about roast goose from Yung Kee at Lan Kwai Fong (ok taste but slaughter tourist). If got time, try the Tasty Congee and Noodle Wonton Shop at WhampaoGourmet place. Congee is so smooth and flavorful you'll not waste a single drop! Enjoy your trip
ooh i can't wait to read about your experiences. I love eating in hong kong, huge variety and cheap too.
